Representative Project Experience
- Erie County, Erie, PA
Erie Cultural Center— This 140ksf Cultural Center consists of a 90ksf central County Library, 40ksf Erie Maritime Museum and new basin for the reconstructed Flagship Niagara, offices for the Erie County Technical Institute and a 300-person public auditorium and performance space.
Bicentennial Tower— Enhanced a number of existing uses including public pedestrian access, maritime usages, festivals, fairs and various summer and winter activities and acts as a "gateway" to the city from water and a strong terminus to the center of the city. Project was selected as the City's Bicentennial gift in 1995. The new observation tower with support building for concessions, tower access, public toilets and an existing elevated floor structure that serves, as an expanded pedestrian space has become a new landmark for the entire Erie community. - Erie Water Authority, Erie, PA
Water Works Administration Building— An aggressive addition, renovation and preservation project, consisting of administration offices on the top floor. Other components include engineering, finance, accounting, billings and collections, boardroom and conference rooms. - Mercyhurst College, Erie, PA
Carolyn Herrmann Student Center— College bookstore, Laker Inn, Great Room, Campus Ministry, Prince of Peace Chapel, Student Activity offices, and Student Government chambers.
Audrey Hirt Academic Bldg— Education, Communications, and Psychology Departments, Gabreski Honors Suite, graphic arts laboratory, Hurst TV studios, and Merciad and senior annual offices. - Cleveland State University, Cleveland, OH
New Recreation Center— New 100ksf facility featuring 3-story atrium, 2-court gym, single court multiple athletic center, multipurpose rooms, racquetball courts, jogging track and17ksf of weight & fitness areas. A wellness center provides coursework and training for health & fitness. - Municipal The Housing Authority of the City Of Erie, Erie, PA
Parade Street Mixed-Used Development— This $1.5MM mixed-use development combines first-floor retail with affordable housing in a live/work arrangement. The project is helping to define the southern border of the DID.
Accessible Housing and Capital Improvements— To increase the number of ADA compliant units WMF is adding 28 units to various housing sites within HACE.
