Architecture Programs
Architectural Minor
Statement of Requirements: 21 credits total*
- One sequence of Architecture Theory: 6 credits
A&A 101 and A&A 103 or Arch 210 and 211 - One design studio: 3 credits minimum
One of the following: Arch 101+, A&A102S****, A&A 104****, Arch 130A**, 131***, 132***, 231***, 232***, 101+, 441**, 442** - 400 level (or above) Architecture courses: 6 credits Arch 443, 481, 482, 496, 497, 499C EXCLUDING: Arch 441, 442
- Additional related course work: 6 credits minimum (you will need to complete a petition form that is available in the architecture department office to have these credits count for this requirement).
Course work within Architecture, Art History, Landscape Architecture and Architectural Engineering may be acceptable at the discretion of advisor and Architecture Department Head
Note: If you are an architectural engineering student, the additional 6 credits must be in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, or Art History courses beyond those stipulated in the AE curriculum.
* A student enrolled in the major or minor must receive a grade of C or better in all courses required for the major or minor (see senate policy 82-44).

****Courses available to ArtEd, InArt, Thea, LArch majors only.
+ Students will not be permitted to take Arch 101 after a 6 credit studio experience in order to increase credits contributing to fulfilling the minor.
You must complete the Minor Application Form and submit to Pier Bandini for approval to have the minor added to your student record.
